This Bluetooth-connected bike alerts you when you are about to get hit by a car. The smart carbon fiber bicycle is part of a Kickstarter project by Canadian startup Vanhawks. The Valour measures cycling stats and protects you from automobiles hiding in your blind spot.
The black two wheeled vehicle is equipped with sonar sensors which will make the handlebars buzz if the rider is in danger of getting hit. Despite its lightweight design, however, many seasoned cyclists continue to have concerns over the durability of the carbon fiber bike. With the Valour's safety features in place, this is likely less of a sore point.
The data collected by the Bluetooth bike can also be assessed through the Vanhawks app available on Android, iOS and Pebble smartwatch.
