Blueberry Pediatrics, an app offering 24/7 virtual pediatrician services, has officially launched in the United States. The new platform aims to "give parents peace of mind about their kids' health" by offering them constant access to high-quality medical care without the need to visit a doctor's office.
Blueberry's expansive team of board-certified pediatricians are on call at all times; they can be contacted by parents to help diagnose their child's health conditions, provide advice, and even prescribe medication. Interestingly, the app can be paired with a special at-home medical kit that includes a pulse oximeter, ear infection kit, and forehead thermometer.
"As a doctor and a father myself, I know firsthand the anxiety that comes from caring for your sick child. There’s nothing more reassuring than having an expert to call for help, and that’s what our team provides," said Jonathan Kahan, Chief Medical Officer and Co-Founder of Blueberry Pediatrics.
