Commercial space flight has been bandied about for some years now, but Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin is pushing to make that big talk a reality, and the company has put together a demonstration of what those journeys will likely feel like. At EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, the Experimental Aircraft Association's yearly membership convention, Blue Origin has set up a demonstration that simulates a trip to space using real footage taken from the company's successful test flights.
Late in 2015, Blue Origin's 'New Shepard' became the first craft to ascend into space and return for a vertical landing. Throughout 2016, New Shepard repeated that feat four more times, becoming the first rocket to ever be reused on multiple missions. Blue Origin took footage of these flights, and it's that footage that EAA AirVenture Oshkosh attendees will see during the simulation. The New Shepard rocket has the largest windows of any spacecraft, giving astronauts spectacular views indeed.
