Luxury footwear company Standard and Strange created the new Black Cat Boot in collaboration with John Lofgren. The boots were based on traditional M-43 boots originally made in 1943 and issued during WWII.
In classic military style, the shoes feature a composite sole, unstructured toe, welted construction and rough-out leather. Delicately hand-crafted in Japan, the new boots have a Goodyear welt design with a black Japanese steerhide leather tanned in Himeji. Available in sizes from seven to 11, the boots have a comfortable internal structure made to support feet all day.
The new Black Cat Boot from Standard and Strange and John Lofgren will only be available for a limited time -- for a stylish, durable and unique footwear option this summer.
