OmSignal, a Canadian company known for producing biometric compression shirts for men, is said to be debuting a revolutionary biometric bra for women at CES 2016 in Las Vegas. The innovative sports bra is specifically designed to optimize comfort and support, while it also provides data-collecting capabilities through a sensor-filled black box.
The biometric bra by OmSignal will track a woman's heart rate, breathing rate, calories burned and more. The sensor-filled black box through which the data is gleaned sits along the lower band of the sports bra. The complementary mobile app boasts features like OmRun, which measures distance, pace and fatigue levels during runs.
OmSignal's biometric bra is expected to be available for purchase in spring 2016 for approximately $150.
