The Bimoped EV is a transformer EV designed for the city of Amsterdam. Designer Michael Druchunas has created a two-seat EV that can instantly transform into two mopeds.
The Bimoped EV has a tandem seating configuration, making it ideal for short trips where intimacy and extreme comfort aren't required. The Bimoped's electric engine can be supplemented with a compressed gas conversion kit should drivers run out of juice before reaching their destinations.
Easily the most awesome feature of this design is the fact that it can transform into two mopeds once parked. The front and rear wheels on each side can be fixed together to form two small, but functional mopeds. This would be ideal for a European city such as Amsterdam where bicycles and mopeds are more common than cars.
