'Haize' is a bike navigation device that was imagined and created to help urban cyclists have an easier and safer time finding their destinations. Haize is a compass-like device that easily attaches to handlebars with a rubber band. The app-connected device simply registers the location that was entered into a smartphone and proceeds to direct the cyclist which way to turn.
The smart GPS device has two modes: "compass mode" that allows riders to choose their own route or "navigation mode" that gives them turn-by-turn directions. A little green LED light appears on either the front, back, left or right side of the circle. If the rider is getting further away from their destination, a red LED light appears in the center.
Eliminating the dangerous practice of holding and staring at a phone while riding, the Haize device allows cyclists to clearly see their route. For added interest, the device also sends statistics about the trip and saved routes to the user's smartphone.
