This season, Sonic Drive-In is taking the cheeseburger to the next level with a hefty new offering dubbed the Big Cheesy. Just as the name suggests, this new burger serves up three times the cheese (and two times the beef).
The Biggie Cheese is a towering hamburger that's served double-decker style. The burger starts with a bakery-soft brioche bun, topped with two 100 percent pure beef patties, three slices of melted American cheese, grilled onions, pickle slices, and a tangy Hickory BBQ sauce. As Sonic's Vice President of Product Innovation and Development Scott Uehlein explains, "With a whopping three slices of melty cheese and two juicy beef patties, we not only made our classicly delicious cheeseburger bigger, we also loaded it up with all the fixings to create a unique Sonic masterpiece."
