Heron Preston's Between Two Worlds collection is unveiled for the Fall/Winter 2021 season and it focuses on function through design at the forefront. The seasonal capsule understands the designer's perspective on reality itself and delivers wearables to capture that.
He is also working towards getting his design team to make apparel that are OSHA-certified. He uses materials that are flame resistant, some recycled polyester, anti-bacterial tees, and shorts. This nods to the his efforts to be eco-conscious without compromising utilitarian design language. Preston states, "It’s about listening to my athlete, so to speak [...] What does it take to bring fashion into real, applicable, usable workwear?" This is the first time that the collection is free of collaborations to emphasize his own pieces.
