Crude Jokes at Political Events

Bernie Mac at Obama Fundraiser

Comedian Bernie Mac has got himself into some pretty hot water after he made inappropriate jokes at a Barrack Obama fundraiser this weekend. Not long after, stories of the stand-up act have gone viral and has become a hot topic in the press and in blogs.

Bernie Mac was hired to entertain guests, but when his jokes got too crude (and offensive to women), one man shouted, "It's not funny. Let's get Barack on."

Considering each attendee paid $2,300 to go the event, it's a good thing their needs were heard and catered to.

"We can't afford to be divided by race," Obama said when he hit the stage. "We can't afford to be divided by region or by class and we can't afford to be divided by gender, which by the way, that means, Bernie, you've got to clean up your act next time," Obama said. "This is a family affair. By the way, I'm just messing with you, man."

Some of Bernie's jokes included:

"My little nephew came to me and he said, 'Uncle, what's the difference between a hypothetical question and a realistic question?' I said, I don't know, but I said, 'Go upstairs and ask your mother if she'd make love to the mailman for $50,000.'"
