Berlin Street Fashion Lookbooks

BEINGHUNTED Channels Art and Culture for Spring/Summer 2018

Locally based label BEINGHUNTED launches its Spring/Summer 2018 campaign, which is a graphic-heavy and cinematic photographic representation of Berlin street fashion. For this year's line-up, the brand focused on the nuanced art and cultural history of the German capital.

The collection is informed by Jörg Haas' "collection of old fashioned magazines." The publications are basically an artifact that outlines the dominant artistic movements in the country, as well as Berlin's nightlife and other culture-heavy fields. One iconic aesthetic that the 2018 Berlin street fashion collection focuses on is the ultra retro high fidelity equipment from the 80s, as well as a strong representation of Fluxus — an art movement that is considered to be extremely radical in the 60s and one that includes names like Yoko Ono and Joseph Beuys.
