Benson Hill, an American food technology company specializing in plant genetics, has announced the launch of TruVail, a new line of GMO-free, plant-based protein ingredients designed to deliver sustainability-focused benefits.
To start, the new line will be offering a high-protein soy flour that brands can use to replace the commonly used -- but highly processed -- counterpart: soy protein concentrate. In addition, TruVail's soy flour contains texturized proteins that can be used across a broad variety of soy protein applications, as well as in any plant-based protein product.
