Giant Gamer Controllers

Ben Allen Creates World's Largest Nintendo Controller

Ben Allen, a British engineering student at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, has created the world's largest Nintendo controller. Thirty times bigger than the standard controller, it is fully functional. Since it weighs in at a whopping 252 pounds and measures 144 inches by 62 inches by 20 inches, people who want to use it will have to jump on the buttons to play rather than pick it up.

Ben Allen conceived and developed the plans for his giant NES controller at his local pub. It took Ben Allen five months and $6,000 to build it. Unveiled at London's Liverpool St. station to kick off the Guinness World Records 2012 Gamers Edition, Ben Allen's controller was a hit. Visitors were able to kick off their shoes and try it out.
