Starving students around the world are going to want to cross their fingers and pray that Bed 42 goes into mass production sometime soon. This creative piece of combo furniture was designed by the Mexican-German design firm Manada and is a desk/bed.
The entire piece is made out of wood and the desk is supported by the weight of the bed frame. Bed 42 is a brilliant design as it removes the need to buy multiple pieces of furniture. The bed/desk also looks damn good too, which is nice as some pieces of two-in-one furniture leave a lot to be desired in the looks department. Bed 42 was officially recognized by the German Design Council, taking home the 2012 Interior Innovation Award.
