As adidas Originals is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, it decided to bring back of its most iconic past releases: the Beckenbauer Tracksuit.
The tracksuits are said to be named after Franz Anton Beckenbauer, a legendary German football star who later became a coach of the national team. A total of three pieces make up the tracksuits: a boldly branded t-shirt, track pants with elastics on the bottoms to ensure that they stay in place, and a comfortable zippered sweater. While the pants are a bright hue of red with white stripes and branding complementing them, the tee and sweater are the exact opposite, with white overtaking the majority of their colorways.
The Beckenbauer Tracksuit is expected to hit store shelves on April 20th.
