The BCBGMAXAZRIA S/S '16 collection was one of the first collections to take to runway at the NYFW S/S '16 shows. Inspired by Southern California, creative director Max Azria displayed an urban and nomadic line.
The point of the BCBGMAXAZRIA S/S '16 collection was to capture the Los Angeles aesthetic. Inspired by the city's skate culture, music, surfing and weather, Max Azria -- in partnership with his wife Lubov -- created a collection featuring playful patchwork, lots of fringes and easy breezy fabrics that would be well appreciated in the City of Angels.
The Azria team crafted statement bucket hats that paired well with the many layered looks. Knits, t-shirts, embroidered pieces and color-blocking stacked against each other make for contrasting styles any bohemian can enjoy.
