Baume works in collaboration with pro skateboarder Erik Ellington to create a limited edition watch series with his label HRS. Specifically, Ellington and Baume's creative director Phillip Bolthausen join forces in designing a timepiece that is unique to its own as it is fully constructed using old skateboard decks that were once used by Ellington and his friends. The duo took advantage of the different material variants that make up a skateboard deck and implement them to become something completely different.
The skate deck has several textures and colors from its wood component, which gives each timepiece a case that is one of a kind. The wrist straps are made from cork and can be interchanged between the options of either a black tonal wrap or a natural one. The movement is automatic and the design imitates Baume's own Iconic Series.
