Architecture and design company Crea International was the talent behind the new interior of the Barwa Bank in Qatar. The firm has created a design concept that effectively merges both modern technology and beautiful, sophisticated design.
The new interior or the Barwa Bank features a central area that is comprised of multifunctional workstations with touchscreen tables -- this ensures a paperless institution -- where the bank's service personnel can sit with clients to perform banking functions with total transparency. The bank was designed in this way as to stand out from the designs of other financial institutions and to "build the most innovative bank," says the Retail Design Blog.
The interior's calm, off-white color palette as well as its smooth and curvy elements also lend to a comforting and warm environment. According to the design director Libero Rutilo, the inspiration behind the design was the landscape and nature of Qatar: its dunes, smooth shapes and delicate colors.
