Articolo Studios Designed the Barnacle Wall Sconce Light

Australian lighting company Articolo Studios works in collaboration with Emma Davies to create the Barnacle Wall Sconce light. It has a delicate shell-like structure which is made by hand using reclaimed materials for a sustainable process. It is notably the first product in the brand's Artist Series and is inspired by Davis' practice of transforming day-to-day materials.

Founder and creative director of Articolo, Nicci Kavals, and Davies combine a simple square brass with a bronze foundation to create an organic form. Kavals shares "We're delighted to deepen our connection to the arts by collaborating directly with local and international artists, fusing their unique practices with the sophisticated engineering and elevated design that Articolo Studios is known for."
