Retro-Chic Nostalgic Flip Phones

HMD and Mattel Join Forces on a Bright Pink Barbie Phone

HMD works in collaboration with Mattel to bring forth an exciting design as the Barbie phone evokes a sense of nostalgia and playfulness. The flip phone has a retro-chic aesthetic and branding that celebrates the iconic doll. It has a classic clamshell design and opens up to showcase a small QVGA screen measuring 2.8 inches.

This rests right above the traditional T9 keypad and it runs on the old Nokia S30+ platform. This means that it can only perform basic functions including making phonecalls, receiving and sending text messages, various utilities, and light games. There is even a camera but it continues the simplistic form as it functions with 0.3 megapixels to truly embrace a retro experience.
