The conceptual 'Ball-tab' power bar is a modern approach to the classic piece of office equipment that will enable technology users to maintain a more freestyle experience without having to sacrifice when it comes to functionality.
The power bar unit consists of magnetic outlet orbs that will enable the attached cords to spin freely in the base to ensure users are never tugging them from the wall or placing undue stress on the equipment. The integrated LEDs softly illuminate when in use to indicate power is flowing, while the freestyle design of the entire system makes it easily cleaned between uses.
The conceptual 'Ball-tab' power bar is the design work of Young Kim and Sung Ick Jo, and is the winner of the 2018 K-Design Award.
