Designed to resemble a classic campsite, the new Bach Family House by local firm Cymon Allfrey Architects is a rural retreat situated on a small piece on land in Hanmer Springs.
The retreat is made up of three timber cabins that are all organized around a luxurious central terrace that acts as an outdoor living area. The largest cabin has a living area, kitchen, master bedroom and utility area. The other cabins feature additional sleeping areas and a kitchenette. The modern towner-like structure stores firewood in the bottom and a lofted bunkhouse above. Each cabin holds its own amenity to form the perfect vacation retreat.
With a dining table and large fire pit looking onto the Tekoa Range, the Bach Family House promotes outdoor living, relaxing and reconnecting.
