'AYN Tec,' the China-based company that stands for "All You Need Technologies," launched the 'AYN Odin.' The AYN Odin is the company's inaugural, and also flagship, gaming handheld. The device is available in three models, the Lite, Base, and Pro models. While it may seem as though the models increase in power on a tiered system, the Lite has a number of noteworthy differences that set it apart from the other two.
The AYN Odin Lite has a Mediatek Dimensity D900 processor, which is a newer processor than the Qualcomm Snapdragon SD845 present in the Base and Pro models. As a result of this, the Lite is not directly comparable to the other two models as its separate processor brand boasts a number of strengths and weaknesses.
AYN Tec markets the Odin as a game streaming device that is engineered around services such as GEForce NOW, Steam Link, Xbox Game Pass, and Google Stadia. However, the device runs the Android 11 mobile operating system, making it an excellent choice for mobile emulation of older consoles, such as PlayStation 2 or Nintendo GameCube.
