The dawn of the autonomous bar might not be as far as away as one might think. Italian architect Carlo Ratti recently revealed his concept for a driverless robotic bar that will offer individuals in busy urban areas on-demand cocktails. Dubbed 'Guido,' the idea is much like another project by Ratti. Last year, the architect collaborated with Makr Shakr on app-controlled robotic bartenders. Extracting the essence of that idea, Carlo Ratti further evolves the concept to a mobile autonomous bar with two mechanical arms "that can accurately prepare and serve any drink within seconds."
For his project is once again backed by Makr Shakr and is intended to "offer new leisure experiences in urban environments."
