German robotics company Kuka has developed a a new compact robot to add to its respected KR Agilus range of automated robots.
Dubbed the KR 3 Agilus, these robots are designed for industrial work that involves shortened cycle times and a high degree of output. Some of the tasks that these automated robots can perform include assembly of miniature parts, handling tasks, fastening of screws, adhesive application, packaging and final inspections. These robots can be deployed in cells with dimensions of 600 x 600 millimeters, proving their compactness. They promise a high degree of precision without compromising on speed
With their compact design and ability to carry out tasks of smaller physical magnitudes, these automated robots are perfectly designed for use in electronics assembly in the context of computers and communications technologies.
