Automakers Get Into Gaming

Ferrari to Launch Video Game

Last November, Volvo launched a video game titled, 'Volvo Drive for Life'. Unlike Grand Theft Auto, Volvo's game rewards safe driving, not speed.

Fortunately, speed lovers everywhere can satisfy their cravings because Ferrari is also launching a video game, and won't emphasize safety...

To create the game, Ferrari has signed a developing deal with 10tacle Studios. Ferrari's head of licensing, Katia Bassi, described, "10tacle Studios have proven repeatedly that they are capable of developing racing games on a level appropriate to Ferrari's leading position in the field. We look forward to working together".
