The Audi A2 is the luxury car company's first all-electric car, set to be unveiled soon at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The Audi A2 is filled with innovative features. For starters, the interior of the car is designed with gadget fiends in mind. The interior incorporates wireless charging technology to let you top up any gadget's battery on-the-go. The car also has a retractable touchscreen instrument panel and can serve as a WiFi hotspot.
The EV is FWD and is powered by a 31 kilowatt lithium-ion battery pack. Audi is saying that the car can do 0-60 in 9.3 seconds and max out at 93 MPH, with max range said to be 124 miles. The battery can be charged to full in 1.5 hours using a 400 volt charger with a 230 volt charger requiring four hours. So far, only conceptual shots of the Audi A2 have been released. If these images and figures are true, the A2 could be a groundbreaking EV. There are already a few EVs on the marketplace, but none are as luxurious or high-tech as Audi's offering. This is going to be big.
