AtmosGear, a startup founded in 2019, showcased its upcoming Electric Inline Skates at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023 in Las Vegas. The company proclaims this product to be the first electric inline skates targeted at the daily commuter, as the skates are easy to carry around and quickly equip when needed.
The battery for the skates is kept in a fanny pack worn around the rider's hip, while the wire runs down the leg to connect to each skate, delivering enough wattage to travel nearly 20 miles per hour. However, this speed is not recommended for new riders as the skates take some getting used to. The AtmosGear Electric Inline Skates will soon be available for preorder at an MSRP of $531 USD.
