Arcade-Inspired Belts

The Asteroid Belt Features a Fully Functional Gaming System

The Asteroid Belt may very well be the world's first playable belt. The belt was created by Instructables' user Cunning_Fellow and features a buckle with a directional pad, four buttons and an LCD screen. The brass buckle lets you play a game called "Rock Blaster," which is essentially a remake of the Atari classic "Asteroids."

Unlike other Instructables, Cunning_Fellow's creation is only meant to be made by those with expert DIY skills. The crafter says he would do a production run of the Asteroid Belt if "1,000 people all moan at me at once." If you aren't an expert hacker and crafter then you're going to want to enjoy the awesomeness that is this belt from afar.
