Unlike the traditional wooden floors used in school gyms and more sophisticated sports facilities, the ASB GlassFloor is versatile for different needs. Beneath its transparent surface there lies embedded a series of lights that change the size and lines of the court. This allows it to be used for different sports such as basketball and squash.
Developed by German company ASB Systembau, the ASB GlassFloor is comprised of an aluminum substructure and a custom-made surface of glass, which has been tempered to yield ideal elasticity, friction and reflection of light.
