These arty shoes, hand-painted by British artist Boyarde Messenger, take their cues from classic fine art paintings. These cute pumps are perfect for girls who know their Pollock's from their Piet Mondarin's and like to wear their influences on their feet.
The amazing shoes feature extracts from paintings by Jackson Pollock, Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Piet Mondrian and pop art hero Roy Lichtenstein. The unique heels are a Charlotte Olympia design called 'Dolly.' Olympia enlisted the talents of Boyarde Messenger to create these special edition for Neiman Marcus and Art Basel Miami.
I was very excited to see that one of my favourite artists ever, British painter Howard Hodgkin, also had his abstract works recreated on these heels. I'm not sure I'd be able to make it out of my house in these towering heels, but they sure are nice to look at!
