Global Artist-Designed Shoes

Aldo Draws in Global Street Artists for a New Shoe Collection

Montreal-based footwear label Aldo draws in the skills of some of the globe's highly adorned artists to create a collection of global street artist-designed shoes. The collection is a limited edition and Aldo's sneaker sublabel Mx teams up with five artists to create the range. There are works seen from New York's Buff Monster, London's INSA, Seoul's So Youn Lee, Montreal's Pony, and Dubai's Dina Saadi. All the artists were given the sneakers as a blank canvas to let their respectively creative journey roam.

The results reflect each artist's own city and community, clearly highlighting the appreciative support and inspiration each gathers in their work. The limited sneakers are made up of a breathable mesh material across their uppers and rest on a cushioned heel for comfort. The sneakers are available for purchase online and in store now.
