Arquitectura Nativa Has Created an Impeccable Dwelling

Arquitectura Nativa was tasked with creating a home in Mexico for a retired archeologist and his partner. The project, which is titled Casa Martha, is located in the small village of La Misión. The site was steep and rocky, creating some design challenges for the architects.

Arquitectura Nativa focused on creating a building that will effortlessly blend with its surroundings. The dwelling is impeccably inserted into the slope and the firm relied on "rudimentary and artisanal techniques" in order to arrive at the best possible design outcome.

Spread across three levels, Casa Martha includes living spaces for the couple, as well as any potential visitors. Strategically, Arquitectura Nativa positioned "the most public areas of the home on the lowest level."
