The newest envisioned solar sailboat to hit the ocean is Janne Leppanen's ARKKI solar trimaran. The Trimaran, a boat based on the look and purpose of a catamaran, is adorned with solar panels on the deck, which saves up enough power for the entire boat to work in the winter as well.
The ARKKI solar trimaran is based off of the biblical story of Noah’s Arc and uses wood to cover the top deck of the large yacht. But I’m not entirely sure the solar yacht will be able to fit all the two-by-two animals in the world.
