Oceanic-Inspired Mansions

The Exterior of This Arizona Mansion Resembles a Sea Creature

Architect Nick Tsontakis was not inspired by a creature of the sea when he designed this Arizona mansion. He explains, "The overall form of the home is reminiscent of a manta ray – even though this was not intentional -- and from the air the structure looks like it’s swimming on top of the mountain." His intention was, however, to build a home that would be memorable in its design yet entirely livable at the same time.

Whether intentional or not, the wrap-around Manta Ray silhouette provides the residents of the home with amazing, unobstructed views of the surrounding nature from the top of the mountain.

Inside, the home is the picture of luxury, offering six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and a garage that comfortably fits ten.
