Immersive Fragrance Boutiques

This Arielle Shoshana Store Offers a Niche Shopping Experience

This bright, ultramodern Arielle Shoshana fragrance boutique in Fairfax, Viriginia is the first dedicated fragrance store of its kind in the DC area. The store is laid out to be a sensorial, aromatic experience and has its scents organized by dominant notes. Customers are asked to shop by "note," and do so by standing in a certain "orientation point" where they can lean forward to experience it more thoroughly.

The unique Fairfax shopping experience at Arielle Shoshana was created by architecture and design firm CORE, who opted for a minimalist merchandising technique centers around wood boxes that serve as elegant details. Each of the wooden cubes is lined with rose-gold, champagne or brass metal and much of the architecture is constructed in an orthogonal fashion.
