Archive New York is the product of designer Amira Marion. Within each of her pieces, Marion makes use of striking textiles, reworking them into varying formations by way of silk patterns and prints.
Marion's fabrics have been turned into a series of throws and pillows via the Archive New York label. The Fall/Winter 2014 set is as much breathtaking as it is original, seen in its use of chaotic motifs featuring floral, paisley, geometric and criss crossing designs.
Authentic elements are also at play within this collection. Marion has partnered up with the non-profit organization Maya Traditions. Via their collaboration, the line is set to deliver the work of weavers from Panajachel, Guatemala, hence the traditional feel of the items.
