Ultra-Luxurious Architectural Necklaces

Big Collaborates with Georg Jensen on a Royal Necklace

The stunning architectural necklace by BIG (Bjarke Ingles Group) and jewelry company Georg Jensen is the epitome of creative extravagance. The piece was created to commemorate the 50th Jubilee of Queen Margrethe II, the Queen of Denmark.

The architectural necklace is inspired by a temporary installation in Copenhagen's Kongens Nytorv square. It too, like the necklace, was created to mark the royal occasion. In fact, the luxurious necklace, which is made out of 50 sterling silver blocks, is considered to be "a miniature representation" of the installation.

The necklace is considered to be "the only physical evidence of the temporary exhibition" and is expected to become "part of history for years to come." The piece will be fitted to the Queen at the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
