Kengo Kuma works in collaboration with ASICS once again as the duo presents its variation of the Archisite ORU sneaker model. The Japanese architect adds his own personal touches to the silhouette, highlighting the clear overlay over the upper. The slightly translucent build coats the shoe before it is complete with bungee ties and an ASICS logo applied by a stitched finish.
Laying under the clear coating is the iconic woven concept by the architect. This is reminiscent of the ASICS MEtaRide AMU sneaker that was unveiled in 2019. The new collaboration also nods to the architect's work with Fendi for the SS24 series recently. The Archisite ORU is set to launch on April 3rd during an exclusive event for OneASICS members.
