Erwan Bouroullec Designs the ARBA Chair for raawii

French designer Erwan Bouroullec designs the ARBA Chair for raawii defined by its strong lines and synchronized composition. The furniture was unveiled as a part of an exhibition which was showcased in June at Copenhagen's 3aysofdesign. Visitors were able to interact with the objects in the space, which were also on sale.

The design project prompts the question, "How can designers become more involved with the distribution and production of their works?" The team explores deeper through design and tries to understand how the product is consumed by melding it into different spaces. The chair is flat-packed and can be constructed by the consumer at the end. It is formed from two plywood forms to create a balanced look.
