Floating Apartment Complexes

The AQVA Habitat is Designed for Aquatic Urban Living

Humans may one day be forced to live on the water due to overcrowding. If that becomes the case, I would like to make a case for us to live in the AQVA Habitat. This floating structure can expand and contract to fit population fluxes and can even purify its own water.

The AQVA Habitat was designed by Abel Patacho and Theodora Christoforidou. I could see the AQVA Habitat really taking off in cities that are terribly over-crowded and located near large lakes or oceans. Check out the possible future of urban living in the gallery above.
