To provide its consumers with an improved warranty program, Apple recently made some adjustments to its AppleCare Plus plan.
With the updates now in place, consumers will be "covered for two cases of accidental damage coverage every 12 months"–greatly expanding on its former warranty terms, which only covered consumers for damages within a window of 24 months for two cases.
The upgrades to AppleCare Plus are available to all eligible products, which includes iPhones, AirPods, iPads, iPods, Macs, HomePods, Apple Watches, and Apple TVs. Coverage is also available for Beats headphones, as Apple acquired the popular headphone brand back in 2014.
As Apple explains, the program also includes "Express Replacement Service and 24/7 priority access to Apple experts by chat or phone."
