The L1-FE is a gorgeous and futuristic concept sportscar designed by Australian designer Anthony Farnell. This award-winning car design is intended to combine recreational and motorsport features and is intended to be great fun to drive around but also leave everyone else in the dust when challenged to a race.
Farnell took only 14 weeks to proceed from generating the initial concept design of the vehicle to presenting the completed concept. However, this period was preceded by six weeks of intensive research to better inform the design process.
The car's exterior is designed to appear rather 'out-there' so as to fit in with a race circuit setting, but is also palpable for public road use. This balance was achieved by incorporating detachable panels that can be exchanged to separate the two uses.
