Stop Motion Street Art

INSA and RONE's Animated Graffiti Brings the Streets to Life

INSA and RONE have collaborated to create this wonderful style of animated graffiti called GIF-ITI. The two artists offer the manipulated images as a GIF that creates a captivating stop motion display.

The end result shows a woman blinking her eyes, along with movement of the yellow and red tiles and twinkling stars. Although the sequential motions that creates this illusion cannot be seen street level, it is offered as a GIF for all to see.

This stop motion style animated graffiti in an urban environment is a creative take on the notorious form of art. It adds a modern take to this art form that has been around arguably for as long as humans have been around if you count cave paintings.
