Andre Saraiva's 'Andrepolis' Display at the Hole Immitates NYC Life

French artist André Saraiva has just unveiled his 'Andrépolis' exhibit at The Hole in New York City. Saraiva has been known for his artistic talent, as well as for his knowledge of urban nightlife. He has has here merged these two qualities by displaying a miniature take on the metropolis' multitude of restaurants and clubs.

The fluorescent lighting used to illuminate Andrépolis is reminiscent of the very sights one would expect to find during a night time stroll through the big apple. Signs that read 'sex,' 'club' and 'ATM' speak to the hustle and bustle of the region's party hopping crowd. And while Saraiva is no stranger to the scene, he has also given it a pop cultural twist with references to Andy Warhol.
