Streetwear brand Skim Milk launches an unapologetic and honest commentary on socio-political issues with a Spring/Summer 2018 line of anarchy-inspired clothing. Launched in a time of social turmoil, the bold capsule enlists punk legend Don Bolles -- drummer of the renowned LA band The Germs, to be the face of the style lookbook. Throughout, we see the musician sporting graphic-heavy silhouettes with edgy messages such as "Look Rich." and "Buy Art Not Heroin."
Commenting on the current political and economic state, some of the anarchist-inspired clothing references Donald Trump's presidency and a playful take on the GAP logo. Dubbed 'Culture is Dead,' Skim Milk is able to extrude the communal anxiety and point out a digression in meaning and culture that give way to capitalism and other forms of oppression.
