Pentagonal Mural Pockets

Ampersand Wallpockets Provide Pattern and Places to Store Possessions

Traditionally low materials can effectively be used to create quite charming artsy objects. Ampersand Wallpockets have been manufactured from paper and manage to emanate a crisp and contemporary quality.

Tim Karoleff came up with these crafty geometric compartments which mimic barnacles or honeycombs when clustered together. They're intended to add a playful dimension to the flat surface of walls and to provide neat niches for storing small items. The purpose of the whimsical project may be twofold, but when considering its production process, its benefits are threefold.

The eccentric tectonic decals are die-cut from up to 100% recycled e-flute cardboard to take trapezoidal shapes with pentagonal protruding centers. The Ampersand Wallpockets pieces are shipped in flat parcels and can be easily assembled without a need for glue.
