Suunto’s new Abmit GPS-enabled watch will allow users to live the futuristic dream of checking their watch for more than just the time, date and compass direction. This new watch is perfect for outdoor athletes because it not only provides GPS locations for when joggers get lost, but also monitors their performance and, with the heart rate belt, heart rates.
The watch is able to provide weather trends giving users an opportunity to plan or evacuate their expeditions before getting pummeled by Mother Nature. The watch also calculates recovery time so that athletes know when they can get up and going again. This watch is a wrist-level gym monitor. The Ambit GPS-enabled watch tracks all of the aforementioned information and then stores it so that it can be reviewed later and the information can also be uploaded Suunto’s Web community for relative evaluations.
