LYTT Architecture nad ADEPT Join on the Amager Nature Park

Danish design studios LYTT Architecture and ADEPT work in collaboration on the Amager Nature Park design in Copenhagen. It is defined by its series of viewpoints elevated to overlook the natural surroundings as it is on the stretch of a coastline just east of the capital city. The viewpoints are clad in charred timber shingles and the park is comprised of forests, wetlands, and marshes.

The project lead at LYTT Architecture, Catrine Hancke shares, "The design elements draw upon existing landscape qualities by adding a layer of experiences in a new framework for more diverse and inviting nature activities. One of the main design goals is to ensure that experience and protection supplement each other, so that the untouched nature remains intact when existing and new users engage themselves in the visitor experience."
