The Volkswagen ID. Buzz electric minivan has been given an exploration-focused overhaul by Alpincamper to identify how comfortable the emissions-free vehicle can be when using it for short or extended trips.
The vehicle maintains a compact interior space that has been highly modified to incorporate a kitchen space, convertible sofa bed that sleeps two, under countertop storage, drawers and more. The vehicle also boasts a pop-up roof tent that increases the available headspace in the interior cabin, which will no doubt be appreciated when spending longer stints inside.
The prototype Alpincamper Volkswagen ID. Buzz electric minivan camper from the Germany-based brand was shown off at Die Urlaubsmesse and, while expected to arrive in Europe, is slated to also be tinkered for an American version for 2025.
